Scope

The international one day conference Bio meets Nano and IT will match engineers working in the fields of nanotechnology and informatics with scientists from medicine and biotechnology.

The 5th symposium, takes place in Halle from November 23th to 25th 2009. The conference focuses on the main topics:

• Tissue Engineering and Nanomaterials
• Biomedical engineering
• Nanoparticles in medicine

The theme of the symposium is bridging the gap between the fields of engineering, medicine and biotechnology. Therefore, the symposium programme will reflect synergies between these different fields which are necessary to obtain new innovations through combining knowledge and technology.
